Risk follows the main team at a slight distance like a satellite; watching their back flanks before they engage the enemy. Then once they do engage he circles around to engage the enemies flanks.

His slippery and unpredictable combat style makes him one of the teams best combatants. His martial skill although good is less than Bloodsport or Napalm, for some reason still allows him to beat them regularily.

He often switches his Uzi's from fully automatic to semi to get a wider range of use, and stretch out his ammo.

Risk's primary function is to take out the opposition from behind and trailing behind his own team to watch for similar attacks. Although he often rushes in combat, or takes seemingly unnecessarily risks, most moves are actually calculated even though dangerous. Most teams did not like to work with Risk because he seemed to be unpredictable, but he has proven to be a definate asset to the Grim Squad.

On an early mission with the Squad Risk lost his arm to an alligator attack in the swamps and Circuit replaced it with a cybernetic arm like her own, only she added two sheathed "Gutters". Risk is sometimes obnoxious, and seemingly insane if you do not understand him. Risk has fallen in love with Shadow.

Risk has always been a rogue of sorts. He knew Bloodsport when they were both younger, before her accident and considers her a very close friend to be watched out for a "blood sister".

He was asked to join the team when in the off chance he saved a Senator and his daughter from a Pentriarc assination. At the time Risk did not know who or what the assailants were, he simply stepped in to intercede. Not knowing that Senator Kelly was Gabriel he took the job with the Grim Squad over a year later, the Senator not forgetting his skill or his good nature.
